Lisa Ledgerwood, b.s.ed, m.ed
Operations coordinatoR
Lisa is stationed in Florida and handles stateside operations. She is an enrolled agent, enrolled to practice before the IRS. She received her Bachelors in Elementary Education from Southeastern University and her Masters in Educational Leadership from the University of West Florida. Lisa is reading and ESOL (English to Speakers of Other Languages) endorsed and has ten years of teaching experience.

Food and Event Coordinator
Amber currently lives in Zambia with her husband, David and son, Colton. She moved to Zambia in December of 2015, and is enjoying the beauty of Zambia and its culture. She is originally a Florida Native and still visits every now and again. Amber graduated from Eastern Florida State College’s (EFSC) ADN nursing program in the fall of 2015 and later received her BSN from University of Central Florida. Before her nursing career she worked as a manager in the food service industry. She has had the wonderful opportunity to work with our transcultural/study abroad program over the last 3 years. You will mostly find her helping prepare/decorate accommodations or working with our kitchen and housekeeping teams to ensure quality service. Amber looks forward to working with you in ensuring your needs will be met to the highest standard while you are visiting.
Lorraine Ledgerwood, bsn rn
Housing Coordinator
Lorraine manages facilities and amenities of the guest houses. She earned her Bachelors in Nursing from Palm Beach Atlantic University and has over four years of nursing experience from a Florida Hospital. She recently earned her Masters in Nursing and is assisting in building Kafakumba Clinic in Zambia.
